Finished Presentation

Hi,

Unfortunately, I had a lot of problems with trying to get the video onto the blog, so I have sent it to all of you instead. I have also sent it to Alison, so hopefully, she now knows that we have finished our presentation.
If any of you (with much computer skills than me!) know how to put the video on the blog, then please go ahead, that would be great!

Bibliograpghy question

For those of you who used Trudgill, which book did you use? was it an article or taken from another book? Let me know please, Thanks.

Also have a look at the bibliography doc to check I've included everything.

Good News!

Finally!!! I think we have sent off our presentation to Bill!!! The file was too big to send by email, but I have sent it to him via Dropbox, so hopefully that works. Well done on all the hard work anyway though, nearly there!

Bibliography

Please add all of the books that you've used to the bibliography document and please please please don't forget to reference them properly (i.e. with the date, publishers and place of publish) so that I can finish the appendix asap!

Week Eleven - nearing the end

Today we spent six long hours of our Saturday finalising and recording our presentation. We all worked really well and feel pleased with our final result!

Zosia is now in the process of trying to get this sent to Bill (it's too big for an email attachment) so that he can convert it into a video file for us to upload. Livi is going to blog later today our appendices.

We'll be seeing each other on Monday, by which point we should hopefully have everything completely finished.

Worth mentioning...

Just looking at the presentation, and whilst everybody's individual slides are looking great, the general slides such as the introduction, previous research, and evaluation slides are kind of lacking in content. The points I wrote up there so far were really only outlines as to what we need to involve, rather than something that can really be used in the final presentation.

Obviously we can sort this out in person tomorrow, but I thought it'd be worth everybody taking a look/edit tonight so that we have the maximum time for recording tomorrow. Thank you!

Quick post

Just a quick one to let everyone know where we are. We're all busy with our slides before tomorrow when we are going to record our narration on to the powerpoint and then hopefully email it ti Bill who kindly said that he would turn it into a video so that we can post it on the blog.
